Simple card

Good evening,
Have you got your snow shoes  We had some snow this morning, but it has all gone now - it is still pretty cold though, but only to be expected, it is winter after all!

Today I am showing a very simple card.  The stamps for this one were on the Hochanda show last weekend.  They are lovely stamps, I can't choose a favourite set, they are all fab!

I die cut the lovely border, it's a Sizzix die, into the white card and cut round it to give a 4.5 x6.5 inch card.
I stamped the Just a Note in place then matted it onto a piece of the new 5x7inch designer card
On a different piece of the card, I stamped the beautiful rose and the two corners.
I also stamped the flower heads on another piece of the designer card, cut out and stick over the top of the stamped image.
I coloured the leaves with promarkers and matted it onto the same designer card
Add some pretty thread round the stems and mount onto the main card

Stamps used: Art Nouveau Floral Spacer
Art Nouveau sentiments
The die is from the Pete Hughes mixed media collection.

Just a point to note: The card on the topper is actually the same colour as the background card, it just shows up whiter when I scan it because it is raised.

Thanks very much for popping in
Stay warm!
