I have been a part of the Clarity Design Team for a year now. Barbara asked me last year at Cowden. I can't believe it has been that long!
This set of stamps was the very first set I got to work with. I was sooo excited to get them, but it was only a couple of days before the show on the TV, so I stayed up til the small hours and made three cards ready to send them 'next day delivery' to make sure they arrived on time.
I tuned in on the Sunday very excited and hopeful that my cards would be shown - and they weren't!! I was gutted!! I know that many cards don't get shown and I am more used to it now, but I wish the producers there knew how much we put into the cards we make. This is my favourite of the cards I made for that show and it is on the Clarity website and on the display boards at shows, so I feel okay about it now!
The bit at the bottom of the main image is done using Fran-tage embossing powders and glitters.
Wishing you all a lovely day
Janet x

ReplyDeleteThanks Lynne x It must be nearly a year for you too?
DeleteWhat a lovely card Janet. I'm trying to work out how you did the background ....
ReplyDeleteThank you Sue, the background is done a bit like we did at the last workshop, brayering colour on and spritzing, then using cling film scrunched over then top. I also used bubble wrap to add some bubbles. I may have spritzed with a gold colour rather than water, but it didn't dry very well on the Clarity card
DeleteGreat card Janet and I am lucky to have seen it , Stunning work and I have loved to see you work over the last twelve months...looking forward to lots more in the future...Hugs. Jo. X

Deletelovely colours and a wonderful use of the stamps Janet. It is a real shame it didn't make it onto the tv after all your hard work, but I have seen it on the Clarity site and admired it on there
