Just paper....

Good morning!

Were you you up bright and early to watch the Clarity shows at 07.00am?  I managed the 'early' but 'bright' in the mornings is a bit of a stretch!!  I have to tell you that you definitely need the new Indian Summer paper pads, the designs and colours are just gorgeous and then they brought them out in parchment!  An absolute 'must have'

I like paper!  I have a ton of beautiful designs which I don't get round to using often because I also love making my own backgrounds.  It's a tough dilemma!
For this card, I chose a couple of sheets from the Indian Summer pad, both the same.
The background is made by simply tearing three strips off the paper and sticking them back on to the same sheet of paper, making sure you get a nice white edge. Trim to size.
The tree is done by cutting five squares of paper in 4,5,6,7 and 8 cms and folding them using a triangle teabag fold.  Glue them all together, mount onto card and add to the background.  I added some white paint dots and a little star embellishment I found in my stash.
Thank you for visiting today, I hope you enjoy the bank holiday weekend!
