Good morning everyone!!
It's Thursday, so it is my day off work (guess which is my favourite day of the week??) and it's going to be a scorcher, so hopefully I'll be catching some rays later.
This card is made using the Leafy swirl stamps and one of the lovely new Clarity stencils. Clarity have started a range of stencils, most of them are available in 9 x 11 inches or 7 x 7 inches to fit the Gelli plates The large size is a bit too big for the Grand Calibur, but the smaller ones fit and emboss beautifully.
I am looking forward to collecting them all as they are produced, because they are going to be designs that match stamps I already have. (Yes, I will have to have them all!!)
Anyway, this set of stamps and stencil is the next 'In the Classroom' kit, so i'm looking forward to seeing what Barbara does with them.
This background for the card is done by embossing the stencil with
core-dinations cardstock, then sanding to bring up the design and tearing to size.
The main image is stamped and embossed with white embossing powder.
Embellish with a paper flower, brad and a piece of ribbon.
Hope you like it and thanks for your visit, I always enjoy reading your comments!
Have a wonderful day, Janet xx
