Good evening,
It was an amazing show for Barbara on Hochanda today - a sell out before the end of the show! I loved using the 3-way overlay stamps, but will post those cards later.
Today, I am showing a card we did at the Diva Red workshop yesterday morning...
I die cut the wood panels from a beer mat, added a thin coat of white acrylic paint, allowed to dry then added blue and green acrylic paint and allowed to dry.
I also added a little of each paint colour on a piece of kraft card.
To get the wood effect, I stamped the stems from a bulrushes stamp, which may no longer be available, in Brown archival ink. I also inked round all the edges in brown.
Stamp the owl on another piece of card, colour and cut out.
Arrange all the pieces on the kraft card and glue into place
I hope you like him!
Thanks very much for visiting,
Janet xxx
Welcome to my blog and thanks for visiting! Here you will mostly find stuff about cards - making cards is what I do when I'm not doing my 'proper job'. You are welcome to use any ideas you like, I would appreciate a mention if you copy any cards on here Thank you x There will be stuff about cats (I currently have 4!) most of whom have turned up on the doorstep and moved in!! Coffee is what I will be drinking as I update the blog! I hope you enjoy your visit
