Angling for a card

Hello lovely peeps,

I am back home after a lovely few days away.  The main purpose of the trip was to visit Monkey World in Dorset.  I have been watching the 'Monkey Life' series on TV for a while now and always wanted to go.

I loved it there, - maybe not the best place if you don't like Primates, but I found them amazing, especially as these are all rescued, some of them from appalling conditions and dreadful cruelty.  It is wonderful to see them lead some semblance of normal primate life.

Before we went, Simon celebrated a birthday, this is the card I did for him - he is a very keen angler and likes very simple cards.

I decided to go for a 'strip' which fitted the bill well.

All done in browns, blue and greys.

The stamps are all from clarity apart from the 'Happy Birthday' which is from 'Stampin' up'

Hope you like it and thanks for visiting xx
